i joined the army with Bob in 1979 we were in the same platoon which was Arnhem platoon,we were just 16 yrs of age and didn't have a clue what we had let ourselves in for,there were plenty of hard times but just as many good times with a lot a of laughter on the way,i always remember Bob for being fearless when it came to doing anything remotely dangerous,rock climbing, ab-sailing,death slide you name it Bob would go at it full on whilst i would keep joining the back of the Que,but what Bob was really good at was parascending which i believe he carried on doing after he finished training.I never saw Bob again after training but never forgot him. rest in piece Bob. your old mate Dave Reed
